Upgrade
- Copy the contents of modules/ to your WHMCS modules/ folder.
- IMPORTANT: Go to Setup > Addon Modules Pingen and save the configuration.
Some new configuration options might have been added, so please take the time to review them.
Upgrading from v4.x or older
Version 5 supports the new Pingen API, which requires creating new accounts at Pingen.
Upgrading your Pingen account
- Please follow the instructions in the “Pingen Account Configuration” chapter to get your new credentials and update the module settings accordingly
- Contact Pingen support to have your credits migrated from your old Pingen Classic account to your new Pingen account
Things to be aware of
- No data will be carried over from the old to the new Pingen account – you start from scratch
- Printed envelopes are no longer supported by Pingen
- The Calculator utility will be available again in a future release
