Requirements

Before installing Pingen Post, make sure your environment meets the following requirements.

WHMCS

• WHMCS 9.x

WHMCS 8 is not supported

For WHMCS 8 support you must use Pingen Post version 5.

PHP

• PHP 8.2 or newer
• ionCube Loader 13 or newer
• memory_limit of at least 256M

Pingen.com account

• A pingen.com account — free to create. You need it to obtain the API credentials the addon uses to submit letters. See Pingen Account Configuration for the walkthrough.

Try staging first

Pingen offers a separate staging environment where letters are validated but never physically dispatched — and never charged. Create staging credentials alongside your production ones so you can test end-to-end at no cost.

PHP extensions

Pingen Post requires the following PHP extensions:

• curl
• json
• mbstring

On most systems these are already active. If any are missing, the addon's page in the admin area names them instead of loading, and you can install them as shown below.

Installing missing extensions

Debian / Ubuntu

sudo apt install php-curl php-json php-mbstring

RHEL / Alma / Rocky

sudo yum install php-curl php-json php-mbstring

After installing, restart your web server (or PHP-FPM) for the changes to take effect.
