Uninstall

If you want to remove Pingen Post from your installation entirely, follow these steps in order.

Your data is kept unless you say otherwise

Uninstalling keeps Pingen Post's database tables — your credentials, letter defaults, delivery settings, and the local record of sent letters — so a later reinstall picks up where you left off. Removing them is a deliberate choice, made in step 2, and there is no undo. Your Pingen account, credits, and posted letters live on Pingen's side and are not affected either way.

1. The cron tasks

Pingen Post registers two cron tasks — Pingen Paper Delivery and Pingen Log Cleanup. Uninstalling the plugin removes them, but if you want to stop them running beforehand, disable both in Blesta's cron task manager (Settings → Automation → Tasks).

2. Decide whether to keep your data

In the Pingen Post interface, open Settings → Advanced. In the Danger Zone, leave Remove all data when the plugin is uninstalled off to keep everything for a later reinstall, or switch it on and click Save settings to have uninstalling drop Pingen Post's tables as well. Export the settings first under Backup & Restore on the same sub-tab if you might want them back. See Configuration → Advanced.

3. Uninstall the plugin in Blesta

Go to Settings → Plugins → Installed. Find the Pingen row and click Uninstall.

With the switch from step 2 on, this drops Pingen Post's database tables — all credentials, settings, and the local letter history are removed. With it off, they stay where they are.

Invoices that were already mailed are unaffected; new Paper-delivery invoices simply stop being sent to Pingen.

4. Remove the files

Delete this directory from the filesystem:

/plugins/pingen

Reinstalling later

If you kept your data, re-installing picks up where you left off. If you removed it, you start fresh: import a settings file exported under Settings → Advanced, or re-enter your Pingen API credentials (Pingen Account Configuration) and re-apply your letter defaults and delivery settings as described in Configuration.
