Upgrade
Upgrading Billing Booster takes two steps: overwrite the plugin files with the new release, then run the upgrade from the Blesta Plugins page so any database changes are applied.
Always back up your Blesta files and database before upgrading any plugin. If something goes wrong, a clean restore is much faster than troubleshooting a half-applied upgrade.
1. Replace the files
Upload the contents of the new release archive over your existing Billing Booster installation, overwriting the files in all four directories:
/components/gateways/nonmerchant/paycode
/components/invoice_formats/billboost
/components/invoice_templates/billboost_invoice
/plugins/billboost
Replace the existing files in place — do not delete the folders first. Blesta keeps configuration in the database, so a file-level overwrite preserves all your payment codes, e-invoicing rules, and processing configurations.
The invoice template, invoice format, and gateway are versioned alongside the plugin and expect to match it. Overwriting only /plugins/billboost can leave an old invoice template calling into a newer plugin. If you skipped any of them at install time because you didn't need them, you can keep skipping them — just never upgrade one without the other.
2. Run the plugin upgrade
In your Blesta admin area, navigate to Settings → Plugins and open the Installed tab.
If the new version requires a database migration, an Upgrade button will appear on the Billing Booster row. Click it to apply the upgrade.

If no Upgrade button is shown, the new files are all that was needed and you're done.
Your invoice template selection, email template tags, and gateway settings all survive an upgrade — there is nothing to redo from the Installation steps.
