Requirements

Before installing Billing Booster, make sure your environment meets the following requirements.

Blesta​

  • Blesta 5.x or 6.x

PHP​

  • PHP 8.2 or newer
  • ionCube Loader 13 or newer
  • memory_limit of at least 256M

PHP extensions​

Billing Booster requires the following PHP extensions:

  • curl
  • json
  • mbstring
  • dom
  • zip
  • bcmath
  • openssl
  • zlib

The first three are required for Billing Booster to run at all; dom is needed for e-invoicing, and zip for uploading statements as a ZIP archive rather than as individual XML files. An EBICS bank connection needs bcmath, curl, dom, openssl, zip and zlib; without them, only EBICS is unavailable.

On most systems these are already active — Blesta itself requires curl, json, and mbstring. If any are missing, install them as shown below.

Installing missing extensions​

sudo apt install php-curl php-json php-mbstring php-dom php-zip php-bcmath

After installing, restart your web server (or PHP-FPM) for the changes to take effect.
